Las Vegas, NV - The new school, “The International Academy of Film & Television- Las Vegas” is now open in Las Vegas, and will be starting their first classes this coming November. Headed by its’ newly appointed Campus Director Ron Herbes, a veteran of Hollywood’s film and television industry of over 25 years.

Ron Herbes brings to IAFT Las Vegas his extensive experience from Hollywood as a film editor, sound designer, music editor and producer which has given him the expertise to run this new school in Las Vegas focusing on quality education for film and television industry students, IAFT is already receiving a great deal of interest in the community.

In Hollywood, Ron Herbes worked on thousands of films and television series including “Magnum P.I.”, “Miami Vice”, “Alien Nation”, “Rocky V, “, “Rambo III”, “Predator 2”, “Alien 3”, “Nine Dog Christmas”, “Hot Shots! Part Deux”, and many more. His experience with many positions in the film and television industry gave him the practical know-how to design and engage many curriculum’s in and around Las Vegas Colleges over the last 12 years.

Ron said; “we are opening our school just in time to help train a new workforce for the influx of production companies that will be coming to Nevada now that Governor Brian Sandoval’s filming tax incentive will be starting next year.

Potential students are elated when they hear the costs of certificate and diploma programs at IAFT-Las Vegas and the quality of their course curriculum. As one student said, “It’s important to know someone like Ron will lead IAFT Las Vegas as the Campus Director, he knows the inside track for the Las Vegas Film and Television industry, but, it’s awesome to know that this is an education I can also easily afford!” said Sean Armstrong of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The program at IAFT-Las Vegas will offer students to learn quality filmmaking and acting programs.
