Bowling for a Cure to kick off major fundraiser
for people with digestive diseases
-- March 15 Event benefits Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation --

Lace up those bowling shoes and knock down some pins at the Bowling for a Cure kick off to benefit Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis, the major fundraising event for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America – Las Vegas Chapter. The nonprofit organization raises essential funds and awareness for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis – two chronic, painful digestive diseases that affect 1 in 200 American adults and children.

Bowling for a Cure will be Saturday, Mar. 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Texas Station Casino, located on 2101 Texas Star Lane in North Las Vegas. The fun event will encourage people to sign up for the Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis community walk in May, and motivate teams to begin their fundraising efforts.
Bowling for a Cure tickets will be sold online or by registered teams for $10 and will include two games, rental shoes, food, prizes and some family-friendly competition. For every ticket sold, a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the nonprofit for research to cure digestive diseases, outreach, and programming for patients and their families. For more information or to RSVP, contact Carly at [email protected] or 646/203-1088.

The bowling kick-off precedes Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis, a community charity walk and festivities held on Saturday, May 31 from 8 a.m. to noon at Exploration Park, located at 9700 South Buffalo Drive, in the Mountain’s Edge Master Planned Community in southwest Las Vegas.
