(Las Vegas, NV)-What’s the hype about Kendama in Las Vegas and across the country. KendamaLV, home to Las Vegas’ Kendama Community, is hosting its 1-year anniversary, this Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 1:00-8:00, with some of the best Professional Kendama Players from all around the world with, KendamaUSA, Sweets Kendama, KROM Kendama, and Roots Kendama to name a few. Never before has Las Vegas had so many Kendama Pro-Players joining together for one event.

The traditional Japanese wooden skill-toy, Kendama, consists of a ball attached by a string connected to a stick with 3-cups and a spike. The object is to create different combinations by catching the ball onto the different cups and landing it on the spike. The positive benefits of playing Kendama are that it strengthens hand-eye coordination, develops patience, focus and discipline, and it keeps kids off electronics.

Kendama has created such a buzz in Las Vegas since Jabbawockeez, Co-Owner, Joe Larot, and KendamaUSA Tribute Player, Dave Mateo teamed-up to create KendamaLV and bringing it to the big stage. Kids, teens, and adults are seen walking the streets playing kendama. Now in it’s 1st Year, KendamaLV has the support of some of the best Kendama brands in the world to celebrate its 1-year anniversary. Join us and learn to play Kendama and meet the Pros!
