Lecture by Dr. Larry Gragg on Bugsy Siegel

Dr. Larry Gragg, eminent historian and Curator’s Teaching Professor at the
Missouri University of Science and Technology, will present the first talk in the Gaming Research Colloquium Series sponsored by University Libraries’ Center for Gaming Research at UNLV. Gragg will discuss his research on Bugsy Siegel, who played an infamous role in Las Vegas history. Gragg’s talk titled, “There Were Few Solid Facts to Get in the Way: Popular Perceptions of Bugsy Siegel as Founding Father of Las Vegas,” reveals the reality behind the image of Bugsy Siegel.
