War Horse

You could feel the oxygen being sucked out of the room when Smith
Center president/CEO Myron Martin surprised a VIP audience in February with
an appearance by Joey, the three-man equestrian puppet at the center of War
Horse. Gasps quickly turned to cheers, and now Smith Center theatergoers who
have clamored for a non-musical play on the big stage finally get their
wish. October 2 & 3, 7:30 p.m.; October 4-6, 2 & 7:30 p.m.; $26-$129;
Reynolds Hall.
