Gritty Girls Weekend
GRACEDBYGRIT, a high-performance women’s athletic apparel company in Tivoli Village, is building on its mission to elevate and empower women by hosting a “Gritty Girls Weekend” on Saturday, Jan. 7 and Sunday, Jan. 8. The high-energy weekend will feature events and speakers designed to inspire young girls and teens to be confident, “gritty” girls.
GRACEDBYGRIT has partnered with the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation to host the Las Vegas Girls Empowerment Exhibition from 2:30 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7. The complimentary event, hosted at Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas, will feature a tennis exhibition with junior professional tennis player Zoe Scandalis and other young athletes; team games; guest speakers; gift bags; and an upbeat dance party for girls to mix and mingle. Girls of all ages are invited to attend, enjoy tennis, feel inspired and make new friends.
The weekend will continue with a self-empowerment workshop, GRITTYGIRLS, from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8. An extension of GRACEDBYGRIT’s empowerment program in Solana Beach, Calif., GRITTYGIRLS will offer Las Vegas high school girls the opportunity to hear from successful female role models about ways to feel self-confident and become better leaders. GRITTYGIRLS is priced at $15 per person and will be hosted at the GRACEDBYGRIT store in Tivoli Village, 3350 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 170.
