Cocktail of the Week: Choco-Meister



1 oz. Jägermeister

1 oz. Bayou Spiced Rum

1 oz. Tempus Fugit Spirits Crème de Cacao

2 dashes The Bitter Truth Spiced Chocolate Bitters

Top with 2 oz. Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout

Pear, orange peel and cinnamon for garnish


Combine the first four ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and pour over ice into a tall glass. Top with stout. Garnish with an orange peel and a pear that’s been balled, peeled and sprinkled with cinnamon.


Rich, refined and filled with chocolate — this cocktail is reminiscent of artisanal dark chocolate. The Jägermeister and Bayou Rum incorporate spicy flavors, and the liqueur and stout offer the chocolate-y goodness so many of us crave.
