County-approved spending

How the Clark County Commission voted Tuesday to spend public funds:

* $1.72 million: to Howard Hughes Properties for a parcel on the north side of Carey Avenue for the Department of Aviation.

* $1.5 million: for an interlocal agreement for the design and construction of traffic capacity and safety improvements to various intersections throughout the city of Las Vegas.

* $648,818: to Interstate Rock Products to construct water transmission mains in Bunkerville.

* $500,000: to Centennial Engineering for construction administration services on the Flamingo Road/Industrial Road connector project.

* $393,000: to Post, Buckley, Schuh and Jernigan for professional engineering services on improvements to Windmill Lane, Las Vegas Boulevard and Maryland Parkway.

* $245,000: to Nevada Aerial Mapping for ortho photogrammetric mapping for one year. The project will be coordinated through the Geographic Information Systems Management Office.
