A search continued today for a rifleman who fired two rounds before robbing a Henderson convenience store.

A customer was ordered to lie on the ground and a clerk was forced to fork over cash from the register after the robber fired his .22-caliber rifle inside the 7-Eleven at 1453 N. Boulder Highway about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, Henderson Police said.

Witnesses described the robber as a black man, about 20 years old, 6 feet and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black tennis shoes.
