Collect more parking fines by arresting the violators

If you get a $10 parking ticket on your car and don't pay it, you get a very official letter in about three months which states there is a warrant out for your arrest that demands that you pay the $30 bail. Then, after another 30 days with a no-show, an officer greets you at your front door. He is very friendly and doesn't ask for money.

He even lets you try on his stainless steel bracelets and, in a few minutes, you find yourself in the hoosegow, on the telephone, trying to get someone to pay your $90 bail. Everybody here is also friendly and even offers you free board and room until that is paid.

You just keep smiling and say "yes sir," because by now you have gotten the picture that every time you cause a problem, the bail goes up.

This may sound strange, but I am told they never have any repeat customers.
