Rain still plagues Stars

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- For the second straight night, the Las Vegas Stars and Vancouver Canadians were unable to take the field because of rain.

Tuesday night's Pacific Coast League doubleheader at Vancouver was postponed. The two teams are scheduled -- weather permitting -- to play a doubleheader this evening beginning at 6:05.

The Stars and Canadians also are scheduled to play a doubleheader Thursday afternoon and the teams still have one game to make up as a result of a rainout when the Stars visited Vancouver earlier this month to start the season.

Las Vegas, which has not played since Sunday in Tacoma, are 4-11 and in last place in the PCL Southern Division.

Vancouver is 9-6 and a half a game out of first place in the Northern Division.
