The Galleria at Sunset opens its doors to the public Wednesday:
* LOCATION: 1300 W. Sunset Road, just west of the U.S. 95 Expressway's Sunset Road exit at Stephanie Road.
* HOURS: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday.
* OPENING: Events begin at 9:30 a.m. with a pyrotechnic show in the mall's parking lot.
* ENTERTAINMENT: Disney characters will perform within the mall throughout the first week of operations.
* SQUARE FOOTAGE: 1 million square feet on two levels, supporting four anchor stores and 110 retail outlets.
* ANCHOR STORES: Dillard's, Mervyn's, JC Penney and Robinson's-May
* COST: $200 million
* JOBS: 1,000
* OWNERS: Forest City Development Inc., Cleveland, in partnership with Ranch Property Development Inc., Las Vegas, owned by Leslie Dunn and Dr. Stephen Kollins.
