Marlene Aldridge, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Los Angeles. A resident for 25 years, she was a health care company owner-operator.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; four daughters, Donna Derumen and Tina Aldridge, both of Henderson, and Denise Locke and Theresa Redmayne, both of Las Vegas; one son, Craig Berumen of Palmer, Alaska; and eight grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

LUZ SALMERON AMAYA

Luz Salmeron Amaya, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 12, 1908, in Mexico. A resident for six months, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Lucio Salmeron of California; four daughters, Josefina Salmeron of Las Vegas, Maria Salmeron and Genoveva Salmeron, both of California, and Tayde Salmeron of El Paso, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Boulder City Cemetery.

RYLAND D. ARMSTRONG

Ryland D. Armstrong, 50, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 8, 1947, in Greeley, Colo. A resident for 38 years, he was a tint man at a paint store and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Jaycee Ryland Armstrong and Dusty David Armstrong, both of North Las Vegas; his father, Lloyd Ryland Armstrong, and three brothers, James Allen Armstrong, David Lloyd Armstrong and Douglas Wade Armstrong, all of Las Vegas.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

ANNE L. BASCHE

Anne L. Basche, 98, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born May 18, 1899, in Minnesota. A resident for 10 years, she was a seamstress.

She is survived by one son, Bart of Las Vegas; two sisters, Marie Schlekau and Rose Kuhl, both of Minnesota; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

SELMA D. BRANDT

Selma D. Brandt, 97, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 31, 1900, in Lake Park, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Audrey Kettleson of Las Vegas and Ardis Williams of Walnut Creek, Calif.; one son, Rowland Smuck of Roseberg, Ore.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

ANNA CERNAVA

Anna Cernava, 91, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 15, 1906, in Leechburg, Pa. A resident for two years, she was a member of the Polish National Alliance and the All Saints Alter Society.

She is survived by one niece, Barbara Resseguie; one great-niece, Joy; and two great-nephews, Douglas and Dennis.

THELMA FAYE DAY

Thelma Faye Day, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 9, 1919, in Sasakwa, Okla. A resident for 35 years, she was a cashier at the Mint, Union Plaza, Frontier and Aladdin hotel-casinos.

She is survived by her husband, Howard; two daughters, Judy Goodwin of Redding, Calif., and Cora Skinner of Fallon; two brothers, Glenn Tollett of Brazonia, Texas, and Tommy Tollett of Rattan, Okla.; four sisters, Wanda Tipton of Las Vegas, Loretta Gordon of Holdenville, Okla., Lo Eva McDonald of Gerty, Okla., and Glenda Vesey of Dublin, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

CLIFFORD DALE DWYER

Clifford Dale Dwyer, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 29, 1925, in South Dakota. A resident for 15 years, he was a plumber, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a lifetime member of the American Legion.

He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Anderson of Nebraska; and two sisters, Mary Jane Abild and Bernice Knutson, both of South Dakota.

MARIE CLAIRE FALLS

Marie Claire Falls, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for one year, she was born Sept. 13, 1932, in Fall River, Mass.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; three sons, Thomas Falls of Covina, Calif., and James Falls and Michael Falls, both of Studio City, Calif.; one brother, Ray Laferriere, and three sisters, Pauline Rodriguiz, Lucille Lagasse and Janet Jussaume, all of Somerset, Mass.; and three grandchildren.

Cecile M. Fanella, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A resident for 25 years, she was born Jan. 11, 1914, in Canada.

She is survived by one brother, Jilles Pilote of Canada; and three sisters, Marie Shapiro of Las Vegas and Yolanda Gagnon and Rita Tremblay, both of Canada.

Mathew Ray Frei, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A Navy veteran, he was born Jan. 4, 1918, in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo; two sons, Gary and Dennis Furr; and five grandchildren.

Joseph M. Froegel Jr., 60, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 17, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for three years, he was a machine technician for an electronics manufacturer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A.; one daughter, Janet; three stepdaughters, Laura, Wanda and Virginia; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m-noon Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

BARBARA KAY GRAHAM

Barbara Kay Graham, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for one year, she was born June 8, 1921, in Charleston, W.Va.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie G. Randolph of Battle Creek, Mich.; one son, James K. Graham of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

JOHN GLENN KEITH

John Glenn Keith, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 4, 1929, in Denver. A resident for 35 years, he was a warehouseman for the telephone company, an Army veteran, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Eagles Lodge.

He is survived by one son, John Keith of Las Vegas; one sister, Ann Lapin of Denver; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

RAMELLE K. KLENSKE

Ramelle K. Klenske, 50, of Boulder City died Feb. 3 in a local hospital. A resident for 25 years, she was born July 12, 1947, in California.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; two sons, Devon Nelson and Neil Nelson, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Pamela McMurry of Virginia.

DANIEL MORGANELLI

Daniel Morganelli, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 25, 1920, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, he was a car salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Millie; one son, Daniel Jr. of Arizona; three daughters, Judith Wood and Carol Rogers, both of California, and Linda Jones of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be noon Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

CAROLINE R. PICONE

Caroline R. Picone, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 2, 1907, in Pennsylvania. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Rick Picone and Phil Picone, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

ELIZABETH RIND

Elizabeth Rind, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 22, 1905, in Russia. A longtime resident, she was a bank bookkeeper.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Rind and Maurice Rind, both of Las Vegas.

DONALD RAYMOND SANDERS

Donald Raymond Sanders, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A Navy veteran, he was born May 16, 1928, in Fargo, N.D.

He is survived by five brothers, Dean Sanders of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Arthur Sanders of West Fargo, N.D., Kenneth Sanders of Clifton, Colo., David Sanders of Fargo and Jack Sanders of Ridgeland, S.C.; two sisters, Rae Brandner and Ila Larson, both of Fargo.

HOBART SHARP

Hobart Sharp, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1917, in Williamsburg, Ky. A resident for four years, he was a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; one son, Stephen of Bloomington, Ind.; one daughter, Jeana Davidson of Stockton, Calif.; one brother, Homer Glendale of Arizona; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

ALTHEA V. SHULL

Althea V. Shull, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1914, in Osceola, Neb. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Walter Shull of Las Vegas; one daughter, Patricia Clark of Aumsville, Ore.; nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A private burial will follow.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

VERDIE TAYLOR

Verdie Taylor, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1934, in Louisiana. A resident for 34 years, she was a guest room attendant.

She is survived by one son Roy Carroll; three daughters, Esther Moore, Debra Carroll and Dobbie Boyd; one brother, Johnny Carroll; and four sisters, Rosie Smith, Lillie Williams, Cindy Carroll and Lulu M. Holme.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

CYRIL FRANCIS WALSH

Cyril Francis Walsh, 78, of Henderson died Thursday in a local convalescent hospital. He was born May 16, 1919, in Paterson, N.J. A resident for three years, he was a retired postal clerk, a World War II Navy veteran, past commander of the American Legion, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Nora; two sons, Dennis Walsh of Utah, and Kevin Walsh of Las Vegas; one sister, Veronica McParlin of Toms River, N.J.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mass was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
