Strato-Retail sued Blue Pacific Inc. and its three partners, alleging they did not pay the $12,000-per-month rent nor a variety of additional expenses while 1,193 square feet of shop space was leased from January 1997 through April 1998 for a clothing store.
Strato-Retail operates the retail shops at the Stratosphere hotel-casino in Las Vegas. Strato-Retail and several other of its retail tenants have been in litigation over non-payment of rent.
Several retailers say traffic in the mall has been disappointing due to the Stratosphere's failure to complete planned attractions and a hotel tower at the resort.
