Fred J. Belcastro

Fred J. Belcastro, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1926, in Chicago. A resident for two years, he was a retired developer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; two sons, Fred J. Belcastro and Robert Belcastro, and one daughter, Christy Belcastro, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Lawrence Boyd

Lawrence Boyd, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Los Angeles. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired city government steam plant operator and a member of the Las Vegas Greater Orchid Society and the Society of Widowed Persons.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne Boyd of San Pedro, Calif., and Jim Boyd of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Burial was in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

Cyndi Colleen Brosemer

Cyndi Colleen Brosemer, 46, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 13, 1956, in Indianapolis. A resident for 30 years, she was an office accounting worker for an aircraft service.

She is survived by three daughters, Bambi Ann Finai, Heidi Lynn Brosemer and Juli Christeen Brosemer, her mother, Lola M. Long, and three sisters, Rachel Connor, Marla Cuellar and Joyce C. Chitwood, all of Las Vegas; her grandmother, Elena M. Cuellar of Mount Clements, Mich.; and four granddaughters.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

John E. Cronister

John E. Cronister, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in California. He was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Athens, Ill. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired aircraft machinist and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Gordon L. Cronister of Santiago, Chile, and Peter L. Cronister of Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Sydnee Mendez of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in San Diego.

Chloe Dell Gregory

Chloe Dell Gregory, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 31, 1909, in Petersburg, Okla. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Sally S. Hyatt of Las Vegas; one son, Donald D. Gregory of Nacogdoches, Texas; one sister, Mozelle Lockard of Odessa, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Martha Hermanson

Martha Hermanson, 90, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a care center. A retired department store sales clerk, she was born July 21, 1912, in Kilgore, Neb.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Meierhenry of Las Vegas.

Maria Teresa Hernandez

Maria Teresa Hernandez, 59, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born May 1, 1943, in Cuba. A resident for eight years, she was a self-employed garment manufacturer.

She is survived by her husband, Francisco; one son, Frank Hernandez of Henderson; one daughter, Lourdes Maria Hernandez of Las Vegas; three brothers, Juan DeArmas, Reynaldo DeArmas and Arturo DeArmas, all of Los Angeles; three sisters, Melkis Montrose and Nancy Hidalgo, both of Los Angeles, and Aracely Chacon of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Entombment will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Albert Hopkins

Albert Hopkins, 83, of Henderson died Oct. 25 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 19, 1949, in Georgia. A resident for 24 years, he was president of a financial institution and was a member of the Chapman University Alumni Association.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Hillary Beth Hopkins and Niccole Hahn, both of Las Vegas; and his stepparents, Sue and Tom Fuller; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Green Valley Baptist Church, 270 N. Valle Verde Drive, Henderson. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Barbara Kaminski

Barbara Kaminski, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired telephone company customer service teller.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley; two daughters, Lori Mertes of Las Vegas and Cindy Tom of Pearl City, Hawaii; one son, Brian Kaminski of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Frank Joseph Krajkoski

Frank Joseph Krajkoski, 83, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1919, in Lackawanna, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired television repairman, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 64, Scottish Rite Bodies, Hadi Shrine Temple and the Order of the Eastern Star Robert Morris 87, all in Evansville, Ind. He was also shop steward for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Estella.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Holmes of Henderson; three sisters, Sophie Kijowski and Rose Kurasiewicz, both of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and Jo Kozuch of Fredonia, N.Y.; one brother, Edward Krajkowski of Junction City, Kan.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Doris Meilleur

Doris Meilleur, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Chattanooga, Tenn. A resident for seven years, she was a retired county probation officer.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Christopher Meilleur of Los Angeles and Dana Meilleur of Las Vegas; one sister, Kitty Reeves of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Esther T. Albornoz Nicholson

Esther T. Albornoz Nicholson, 71, of Pahrump died Saturday in Pahrump. She was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired bookkeeper for Kings County Credit Bureau and a member of Tops NV 117.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard; three daughters, Theresa Smith of Pahrump, Deborah Hawkins of California and Leslie Nicholson of Louisiana; three sons, John Kukler and Joseph Kukler, both of Nevada, and John Nicholson of Louisiana; three sisters; three brothers; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Pahrump LDS chapel. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, is handling arrangements.

Leonard E. Rhodes

Leonard E. Rhodes, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1929, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired dentist and a longtime member of the Clark County Dental Association.

He is survived by his wife, Betsy; three sons, Steven Rhodes, DDS, Jim Rhodes and John Rhodes, M.D.; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Canyon Ridge Christian Center, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Louis Phillip Rossi, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. A mobile home salesman, he was born June 15, 1926, in New Jersey.

He is survived by two sons, Louis Rossi of New York and Steven Rossi of Las Vegas; one daughter, Maria Postorino of Las Vegas; two brothers, Alexander Rossi of New Jersey and John Rossi of Pennsylvania; one sister, Audry Addabbo of New Jersey; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Jeffrey Allan Singer

Jeffrey Allan Singer, 32, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 7, 1970, in California. A resident for 13 years, he was a postal delivery driver.

He is survived by his parents, Terry and Linda Singer, and one brother, Mike Singer, all of Henderson; and his grandparents, Marion Ballistrea of Henderson and Al and Virginia Singer of Hawaiian Gardens, Calif.

Sally M. Smith

Sally M. Smith, 94, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 1, 1908, in Anaconda, Mont. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas Smith and William Smith, both of Las Vegas, and James Smith of Ridgewood, N.J.; and 14 grandchildren.
