Lily Board

Lily Board, 98, of Henderson, died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 14, 1904, in Manchester, England. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Harry Board of Henderson and Raymond Board of San Diego; one daughter, Doreen Rounsfull, and one brother, Rudolph Board, both of Las Vegas; and one granddaughter.

Cryptside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today at Eden Vale Mausoleum. Bunkers Mortuary handled arrangements.

Lucille McBride Crawford

Lucille McBride Crawford, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An employee for the state of California at DeWitt State Hospital, she was born July 31, 1918, in Kearney, Neb.

She is survived by one son, John Crawford, M.D. of Las Vegas; three sisters, Doris Maize of Spokane, Wash., Mary Smythe of Northridge, Calif., and Bonnie Georgis of Auburn, Calif.; and two granddaughters.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Yen Thi Flores

Yen Thi Flores, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 28, 1955, in Saigon, Vietnam. A resident for 28 years, she was a -casino change person.

She is survived by her husband, Ben; and five sisters, Hoa Nguyen and Mai Nguyen, both of Saigon, Hong Nguyuen and Loana Kemp, both of Las Vegas, and Anh Szvoren of Philadelphia.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Palm, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Rudy Graham Foxgruber

Rudy Graham Foxgruber, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for eight years, he was a laborer and a World War II Army veteran and boxer.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Rubin M. Garmon

Rubin M. Garmon, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A carpenter, he was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Kentucky.

He is survived by one daughter, Joanne Garmon-Dejonge of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Harvey Franklin Goodson

Harvey Franklin Goodson, 64, of Beatty, died March 25 in a local hospital. He was born May 21, 1938, in Pensacola, Fla. A resident for one year, he was an optician.

He is survived by two sons, Frank Goodson and Ernie Goodson, and two daughters, Yvonne Wardwell and Marylee Grover, all of Beatty; and four grandchildren.

Norman S. Hage

Norman S. Hage, 82, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 15, 1921, in Bode, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, he owned and operated a printing shop.

He is survived by his wife, Marcella; one daughter, LeeAnn Orozco of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one sister, Greta Brandhorst of Lakewood, Calif.

Christine Heim

Christine Heim, 95, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born May 5, 1907, in Los Angeles. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons, Michael Heim of Wrightwood, Calif., Ronald Heim of Clearlake, Calif., Noel Heim of Phoenix, Bernard Heim of Henderson and John Heim of Diamond Bar, Calif.; three daughters, Jeannette Haggarty of Calipatria, Calif., JoAnne Davis of San Diego and Christine Hopple of Ontario, Calif.; 38 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in California. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Robert Hulbert

Robert Hulbert, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1929, in Sheboygan Falls, Wis. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired keno writer and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Robert M. Hulbert and Bill Hulbert, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Janise Reddiski of Wisconsin; one brother, James Hulbert of Sheboygan; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Sabrina Jourdan

Sabrina Jourdan, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Chicago. A resident for 40 years, she was a real estate investor.

She is survived by one daughter, Sky Rose of Boston; one son, Michael Rose, her mother, Helen Stevenson, and two sisters, Christine Brunet and Dianna Stevenson, all of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Michael Stevenson of Las Vegas, Bill Stevenson of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Alan Stevenson of Lancaster, Calif.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Toula Mavrantonis

Toula Mavrantonis, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 22, 1922, in Greece. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Stacy Mavrantonis, Michael Mavrantonis, one daughter, Kili Mavrantonis, and one brother, Chris Patsis, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Georgia Xeros and Niki Nasiotis, both of Greece.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Madonna McCarthy

Madonna McCarthy, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A bookkeeper, she was born Feb. 16, 1913.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Tuft of Las Vegas.

Neil M. McLean

Neil M. McLean, 56, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born May 3, 1946, in Mankato, Minn. A resident for six years, he was a maintenance director and past president of the Key City Bald Eagles Flying Club in Minnesota.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; two sons, Patrick and Alan of Minnesota; two stepsons, Jeff Wolsten Holme of Las Vegas and Kenneth Peroutka of Wisconsin; two stepdaughters, Kari Plautz of Wisconsin and Sherri Peroutka of Las Vegas; one sister, Sherri Scheurer of Florida; and three stepgrandhildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Nathan Addelson Hospice.

Donations of teddy bears to children's foundations are requested.

Amedeo Joseph Mele

Amedeo Joseph Mele, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A computer job analyst, he was born April 27, 1925, in New York.

He is survived by his wife, LouAnne; and one son, Steve W. Mele of California.

Peggy Elizabeth Marie Mullen

Peggy Elizabeth Marie Mullen, 55, of Reno and Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Indiana. A resident for eight years, she was a dispatcher for ADT Alarm Co.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Ellis Mullen; six daughters, Mary Boucher of Albuquerque, Denise Avila of San Jose, Jamie Nyblom of Sun Valley, Shannon Mullen and Tarana Barnes, both of Las Vegas, and Samantha McWhorter of Reno; two sons, Bill Avila of San Jose, Calif., and Sam Boucher of Albuquerque; one brother, Edward Fryer; and 18 grandchildren.

LaVonne Nelson

LaVonne Nelson, 84, of Las Vegas died March 19 in a local care center. She was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Oakley, Kan. A resident for 20 years, she was a clerk at Montgomery Wards.

She is survived by her husband, Willis; two sons, Jon Forberg and Gary Forberg; two daughters, Caroline Meador and Sherry DeFlorentis; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Redrock Baptist Church, 5500 Alta Drive. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Robert Gary Sullivan

Robert Gary Sullivan, 64, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. He was born Sept. 14, 1938, in Glenwood Springs, Colo. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was a pediatrician, an Army veteran and doctor at several Army hospitals and a member of the American Board of Pediatrics.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita; two sons, Jess Andrew Sullivan of New Iberia, La., and Scott Daniel Sullivan of Irvine, Calif.; one daughter, Anna Hatch of Pasadena, Calif.; and one brother, Lewis Sullivan of Greeley, Colo.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Grace Community Church, 1150 Wyoming St., Boulder City. Other services will be in Albuquerque. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

James O. Turney

James O. Turney, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Savanna, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired ice cream cooler foreman, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Moose.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Turney of Las Vegas; one son, Patrick G. Turney of Algonquin, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Elizabeth R. Vallone

Elizabeth R. Vallone, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 24, 1927, in Washington state. A resident for 10 years, she was an assistant comptroller for the universities.

She is survived by four sons, Dennis London of Bay Point, Calif., Gary London and Craig London, both of Claremont, Calif., and James Vallone of San Dimas, Calif.; one daughter, Judy Blake of Dotham, Ala.; one brother, Nate London of Seattle; one sister, Marilyn Ross of San Francisco; and three grandchildren.

Ira Mike Weinberg

Ira Mike Weinberg, 59, of Las Vegas died March 25 in a local hospital. He was born May 2, 1943, in New York. A resident for many years, he owned and operated tattoo parlors.

Michael James Wengert

Michael James Wengert, 34, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1968, in New York. A resident for 27 years, he was a real estate agent for Prudential's New Home Division.

He is survived by his wife, Sherryl; one son, Evan Wengert of Las Vegas; his mother, Nancy Gamboa of Grove, Okla.; one brother, Peter Wengert of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Kathleen Wengert of Whitesboro, N.Y.

Albert J. "Woody" Wood, 75, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born July 15, 1927, in Dearborn, Mich. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired accountant and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Aud; two daughters, Susan Gabriel of Henderson and Judith Parker of Walnut Creek, Calif.; one brother, Charles Wood of Frostproof, Fla.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
