Patricia A. Courtright

Patricia A. Courtright, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Ohio. A resident for 16 years, she was a seamstress.

She is survived by two sons, Marvin Don Courtright and Craig Allan Courtright; one daughter, Donna Courtright; one brother, Ronald Hill; three sisters, Angela, Sue and Marilyn; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled private arrangements.

Gary N. Covey

Gary N. Covey, 60, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1942, in Plattsburgh, N.Y. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a New York City police officer.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry L.; one daughter, Colleen Codweis of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. Mass Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

James Arthur Ensign

James Arthur Ensign, 87, of Las Vegas died Sept. 1 in Las Vegas. A senior vice president, he was born April 7, 1916, in Iowa.

He is survived by one daughter, Laurie Powell of Las Vegas.

Ronald M. Fink

Ronald M. Fink, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 18, 1950, in Torrance, Calif. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired cost accountant.

He is survived by his wife, Bettynan; one son, Matthew Fink of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kimberly Deahn of Henderson; one brother, Jerry Fink of Highland Park, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Walter Fleischman

Walter Fleischman, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 26, 1938, in New York. A longtime resident, he was an air-conditioning technician.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jose Leyva

Jose Leyva, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 19, 1927, in Durango, Mexico. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired casino porter.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; seven sons, Benjamin Leyva, Marcos Leyva, Ramon Leyva, Roberto Leyva, Jose Leyva Jr., Hector Leyva and Ambrocio Leyva, and four daughters, Rosario Leyva, Maria Garcia, Ma Guadalupe Leyva and Ana Luisa Leyva, all of Las Vegas; 40 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Salvatore Riccobene Jr.

Salvatore Riccobene Jr., 84, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired truck driver, a World War II Army veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion and past commander of the Italian American Club in Illinois.

He is survived by three daughters, Janna Pickert of Henderson, Marlene Dover of Lombard, Ill., and Phyllis Lee of Addison, Ill.; one son, Sal Riccobene of Henderson; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Paul Seaber Sr.

Paul Seaber Sr., 70, of Las Vegas died Aug. 21 in Blandon Berks County, Pa. He was born in Lititz, Pa. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired senior research scientist and professor of hydrology at Desert Research Institute, member of Geologic Society of America, a member of American Geophysical Union, Geological Society of Washington and Association of Groundwater Scientists and Engineers, was a published writer in more than 100 scientific publications, a soccer and flag football coach and president of the Parent-Teacher club in Tallahassee, Fla., and received the Award for Distinguished Service in Hydrology in 1993.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gerda A.; three daughters, Ellen S. Turner of Blandon; Dr. Jennifer L. Moore of Atlanta and Susan C. McCarthy of San Diego; one son, Paul R. Seaber Jr. of Las Vegas; three sisters, Wilma S. Beard of Lancaster, Mary S. Ginder of Mount Joy and Barbara S. McDowell of Manheim; 14 grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Spacht Funeral Home Ltd., handled arrangements.

Janet E. Szczygielski

Janet E. Szczygielski, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1930, in Maine. A resident for 16 years, she was a restaurateur.

She is survived by two sons, Henry and Donald.
