"We loved Polly and could not believe when we heard the news my mother and I use to never miss a newscast ... Our hearts go out to the Channel 8 crew and to Pollys daughters and we will never forget her.

It's a very sad, sad day for us and her viewers as well. She will definitely be missed terribly and our deepest condolences go out."

Sincerely,

The Caronna Family

"What a tremendous loss to the Las Vegas community and to her family. I pray her daughters have the support needed to make it through this time.

We moved here last year and have watched Polly ever since.

We enjoyed her professionalism and sophistication. She added something to Channel 8 and the community that can never be replaced.

Please extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends at Channel 8."

"My husband and myself will miss Polly ... she was so refreshing and a wonderful personality. How shocking ... we are with Channel 8 at this time..."

"I am very saddened to hear of the death of Polly Gonzalez. I grew up in the Monterey Bay Area of California and I remember her on the news there. I was quite surprised when I moved to Henderson and recognized her on the news here. I felt like I knew someone here from home. My deepest condolences to her family."

"I have been a Henderson resident since the first year Polly started at KLAS. I watched Polly grow as a local on-air personality, develop as a professional news person and as a respected member of our community. I will miss her smiling face and solid reporting and share with you and her family in your more personal loss."

Respectfully, Sherri O'Boyle
