Strip Scribbles: Where’s Lindsay? Enrique Iglesias in town

*There was no sign of actress Lindsay Lohan when her galpal Samantha Ronson took over the DJ booth at the Bank nightclub in the Bellagio. The couple has announced that they plan to marry under the new California same-sex weddings rule. Samantha will be back in town again on Saturday for Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto show at Rain in the Palms, so maybe fiancé Lindsay will be on her arm.

*To ensure there’s no confusion, entertainer impressionist Gordie Brown is returning with a multi-year contract to headline at the legendary Golden Nugget – but his performances won’t start until February when Celine Dion ends her No Chances tour for which Gordie has been her opening act. (Click here for our breaking news exclusive last week)

*Spanish pop singer/songwriter Enrique Iglesias checked out the new Christian Audigier nightclub at Treasure Island with friends. They sipped on Grey Goose cocktails at a VIP table while listening to the guest DJ Eric Cubeechee. Earlier, the heart-throb dined upstairs at the sexy sushi Social House on yellowtail jalapeno, rock shrimp tempura and mini Kobe burgers washed down with Cabin in the Snow sake. Also at Social House were illusionist David Copperfield and comedy headliner Carrot Top, plus UFC champion Chuck "Iceman" Liddell.

*I actually bumped into my pal, Food Network star Bobby Flay, at the Lavo opening in the Palazzo but the Mesa Grill star chef at Caesars Palace also found time on his Vegas visit to bask in the sunshine at the exclusive oasis Venus Pool Club.

*Flamingo headliner, magician Nathan Burton, made me suddenly appear from a cabinet when I was introduced up at the Red Rock resort casino to the Society for News Design editors of newspaper Web sites around the world. One moment I was watching Nathan’s routine when he whisked a scantily clad dancer into the cabinet -- and made her vanish. I’ve absolutely no idea where she disappeared to because when he flung the curtains open, there I was in her place. All I could think of was the scary old horror flick "The Fly" and pray that he’d made the transformation complete and no parts had been swapped. I had the honor of introducing some of the presentations and speakers. Congratulations to our Web designer and editor colleagues at the Las Vegas Sun and here at Las Vegas Weekly for their award recognitions at the convention.

*Hugh Hefner’s No. 1 galpal Holly Madison was back again solo down at the LAX nightclub in the Luxor. Master mixologists from the ‘secret hidden Noir Bar’ there served her exclusive custom cocktails. LA’s turbo-pop group Powder entertained with their anthems and aerial acrobatic dance moves. UFC champion "Iceman" Chuck Liddell joined the VIP table later.

*Porn princess Tera Patrick and rocker husband Evan Seinfeld enjoyed a late dinner with celebrity Iron Chef winner Kerry Simon at his Cathouse restaurant in the Luxor.

Tonight's tip:

Check out the German bands playing live at our Hofbrauhaus near the Hard Rock as the Oktoberfest beer celebrations continue with the ‘tapping of the kegs and the lifting of the steins,’ but leave time and energy to support our Big Brothers Big Sisters benefit fundraiser at the boys and girls bachelor bash "Big Mix" at the Beatles Revolution lounge in the Mirage, where The Films will be performing live.

Tomorrow's tease

It’s a total Luxe Life exclusive as Criss Angel opens his dressing room at Believe for a candid and compelling interview and plays tour guide for a behind-the-scenes photo look as the new Cirque show begins a final five-week countdown to its world premiere on Halloween. Jessica Simpson jets into town for a rape-crisis fundraiser and the new sensational Sushi Samba restaurant and SugarCane ultra lounge at the Palazzo gets ready to welcome the Entourage cast and a host of other celebrities at its official gala opening.
