Carol Jo Braun, 48, died Aug. 22 at a local hospital.
A Henderson resident for 28 years, she was born Nov. 28, 1960, in Salt Lake City. She was a retired medical assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Braun Sr. of Henderson; children Madison, Anthony, Christopher and Scott Braun of Henderson; stepchildren Pamela Wallace of Las Vegas, Jennifer Zurita-Delk of Henderson, Christina Braun of Las Vegas, Tara Jamison of Sandy, Utah, Robert Braun of Henderson and Richard H. Braun II of Henderson; sisters Barbara Fergus of Salt Lake City, Helena Broadbent of Boulder City, Janet Nash of Arizona, Sarah Lampe of North Carolina; brothers Steven Welch of Texas and Scott Welch of Colorado; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2 to 7 p.m. Aug. 27 at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson and 9 to 10 a.m. Aug. 28 at the Cholla Street Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 303 Cholla Street, Henderson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Cholla Street Chapel followed by interment at Palm Memorial Park, 800 S. Boulder Highway.
