On Friday, the Senior Center hosted podiatrist Dr. Stuart Feldman for an informative seminar on the importance of caring for your feet. The program was well-attended by both Senior Center members and members of the Boulder City community. This presentation was just one more in a continuing effort to provide beneficial health-care information to the seniors of Boulder City.

This week we present Dr. Tad Tenney, a local chiropractor, who will provide information on the importance of drinking water and the effects it has on the aging process. Please join us on Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. The title of his presentation is "Reverse the Aging Process" — and who wouldn't love to do that!

On March 2, you will have the opportunity to learn about all of the various Medicare Advantage plans. This program is provided by State of Nevada SHIP, it will give an in depth explanation of the pros and cons of these plans.

Because this is being provided by a SHIP outreach counselor, there is no selling involved. It will be an opportunity to learn the real facts and not have to worry about being pressured to sign anything.

I believe that each and every senior needs to be informed about their health-care choices. This program will begin at 10:30 a.m.

As you can see, we are working very diligently to bring you the information you need to make informed, healthy choices. Please mark your calendars and join us!
