A man wanted in connection with a burglary in Washington state was arrested Thursday morning in the Las Vegas Valley.
Authorities arrested Brent Rosie, 28, in the 4300 block of West Flamingo Road. He was apprehended by a U.S. Marshals Office-led task force in collaboration with Metro Police and other local and state officials.
Rosie was wanted for burglary in Thurston County, Wash., and fled to the Las Vegas area, authorities said. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Washington.
“This is yet another example where joint agency efforts are apprehending fugitives who think they can hide in the Las Vegas community," U.S. Marshal Gary Orton stated in a statement.
