Man who died in Halloween parking lot shooting identified

A 40-year-old man shot to death Halloween night in the parking lot of his apartment complex has been identified as Arbuary D. Fuller, the Clark County Coroner's Office said today.

Fuller died from a gunshot wound to the chest, a coroner's office spokeswoman said.

Metro Police responded at 8:41 p.m. Saturday to a report of a man who was shot at the Shepherd Hills apartments, 1950 Simmons St. The apartments are south of West Lake Mead Boulevard and north of West Vegas Drive.

Police said the man had taken his children inside his apartment and returned to his vehicle when the shooting occurred. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
