I usually post my weekend celebrity previews on Friday mornings but since today is going to be such a busy one for star sightings in Las Vegas, Thursday is getting a preview all its own.

As always, you can check back on Friday morning to see the complete rundown of who will be where this weekend; before that, however, here’s a list of VIPs who will be in and around town today.

Retired boxer Mike Tyson will get things started this afternoon with an appearance at the International Vision Expo and Conference, which is going on at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. Iron Mike will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photos at the Revolution Eyewear booth (booth #20063) starting at 1 p.m.

Socialite Paris Hilton will also be at the show today as she kicks off a weekend of promoting (and partying in the name of) her new line of sunglasses. The entrepreneurial heiress will be at Gripping Eyewear's station (booth #18103) at 2 p.m. this afternoon -- though it’s unlikely she will spend much time mixing and mingling with fans, signing autographs, etc.

Later tonight, tattoo heavyweight Mario Barth will be at Mandalay Bay to kick off the so-called "Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth" with a party at Rumjumgle.

A veritable collection of stars big and small will be there, so here’s a breakdown:

First, the A-listers: Tommy Lee of Motley Crue; Brandon Boyd of Incubus; UFC Fighter Tito Ortiz; recently-retired UFC champ/recent “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Chuck Liddell; and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains.

Now, the B-listers: Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray; Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses; Beastie Boys DJ Mix Master Mike; Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood and Mac; Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols; Billy Duffy and Billy Morrison of The Cult; and Godsmack frontman Sully Erna.

Rounding out the guestlist, the C-listers: Ozzy Osbourne’s reality star son, Jack Osbourne; Rod Stewart’s son, Sean Stewart; rapper Jim Jones; and actor/boxer/stuntman/radio personality/former Hells Angels president Chuck Zito.

Naturally, a handful of Vegas regulars will be there, too, including Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin and her omnipresent sidekick/current project/Palms lounge act, Matt Goss; and Tera Patrick’s husband, former Biohazard rocker Evan Seinfeld (and perhaps Patrick, too, if we’re lucky).

The party at Rumjungle stands to be a good-sounding one, too, since a somewhat shiny set of mix masters will be in the house, in addition to legendary Mike. DJs Steve Aoki, Aero, Skribble, and Scotty Boy are all on the guest list.
