I am a staunch conservative Republican, but I am a tangled mess of disappointment, hurt and anger.
Last week’s news report about Republican Nevada Senate candidate Ty Cobb Jr. stomping a Sheila Leslie campaign sign to pieces was worse than childish and a whole lot bigger than stupid: It was stupidpendous!
His behavior is a blank check made out to the Democrats against the Republican Party. Leslie — who is running for a different state Senate seat than Cobb — and her fellow Democrats must be chortling all the way to the bank to start drawing interest on their political windfall.
We conservative Republican foot soldiers must ask our leaders: When will you stop “snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?” Enough is too much already!
