President Obama will hold a town hall meeting Friday in Henderson.
Tickets to the town hall, which will be at 10 a.m. at Green Valley High School, are required and will be available beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be available at the Green Valley High football box office.
He then will tour CityCenter with Sen. Harry Reid.
Obama will also attend a fundraiser, hosted by George Maloof, for the Democratic National Committee. It is expected to raise $1 million.
Like all presidents when they leave Washington, Obama has become a prodigious fundraiser for party committees.
The visit will be much anticipated after Obama made a remark recently saying a family shouldn't go to Las Vegas and blow money, "when you’re trying to save for college. You prioritize. You make tough choices. It's time your government did the same."
