Ticket details have been revealed for October's Matador 21st birthday bash at the Pearl, and here's what we know:

• Tickets will be sold as three-day passes only. Prices will run from $199-$225. VIP packages will also be available for $399.

• Most of the tickets will go on sale Friday, July 9 at 9 a.m. Vegas time through ticketfly.com (look for a link Thursday at matadorrecords.com).

The purchase of those tickets will require a three-night stay at the Palms (October 1-3) at the discounted rate of $99 per night (the minimum room rate for those same three nights was $750 when the festival lineup was announced last Tuesday). Festival rooms feature two double beds, with an occupancy of four.

• A small quantity of tickets (50, according to the Matador site), will be available to locals with Nevada IDs beginning Friday, July 9 at noon at Zia Records. The purchase of those tickets will not require a Palms room booking.

• The show will be all-ages.

So what don't we know? Quite a lot, actually, including...

• How many tickets can each person buy, either through Ticketfly or in-person at Zia?

• Which Zia location: Eastern or Sahara?

• How will the in-person locals-only sale work: first come first served or some sort of lottery? Update: Zia manager Karl Hartwig says the store location is still to be determined but that tickets most likely will be distributed through a wristband lottery system. "It's the most fair way," he said.

• Will the festival be seated or general admission?

As for additions to the 20-act lineup revealed last week, a reunited Come has been officially confirmed, and Rolling Stone already has reported that Liz Phair will perform. Matador Records' Matablog promises more to come. Set times will be announced the week prior to the event.
