Planned RV/Boat storage
Area boat and RV owners will have a new storage option near Nellis Air Force Base, pending final approval from county commissioners.
The Sunrise Manor Town Advisory Board approved on Thursday a 7,000-square-foot facility with about 500 cells for various recreational vehicles.
The new business will be on East Lake Mead Boulevard near Christy Lane, which is just south of the air force base.
Chris Zrinyi, the project’s engineer, said the 1.5-acre property would contain one three-story building and another single-story structure for storage. Decorative walls and box trees, intended to shield it from adjacent residences, will surround the establishment.
Pending final approval by Clark County commissioners, Zrinyi said the property owners plan to “move as fast as they can” and begin construction in the winter.
