The Arbor View High football team is one of three undefeated large-school classification schools in Southern Nevada.

But with victories against struggling programs such as Valley, Rancho and Mojave as part of the perfect slate, the Aggies still had plenty to prove.

That all changed Thursday night.

Four different running backs had touchdown runs for Arbor View in a 26-7 victory against visiting Legacy to give the Aggies five straight wins to open the season.

Steve Burns' 38-yard touchdown run started the scoring in the second half for Arbor View with 3:58 to play in the third quarter to give them a double-digit lead at 12-0.

Legacy’s LJ McMorris fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and less than 90 seconds later, Arbor View sophomore Donnie Gaskin scored from 43 yards out for a 19-0 advantage.

Christian Rodriquez's 25-yard touchdown capped the scoring for Arbor View with 2:57 to play.

Arbor View, which opened in 2005, improved to 3-0 in the always-tough Northwest Division. It has never made the playoffs but appears to be in the driver’s seat to break through.

Legacy’s Jordan Ireland snapped the shutout with 2:19 to play when he took a short pass from Jordan Pinkney and raced 62 yards for a touchdown.
