Las Vegas man killed in crash near Fashion Show Mall identified

Fatal crash

A 37-year-old man who died Friday after colliding with three vehicles near the Fashion Show Mall has been identified as Las Vegas resident Ronnie Crawley, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Crawley died from blunt force head injuries suffered during the accident, the coroner said.

Crawley was driving a Chevrolet Monte Carlo eastbound on Fashion Show Drive about 1:45 p.m. when he hit the raised center median, police said. The car veered into the westbound lanes, went back over the median and hit a BMW 635 and a Ford Crown Victoria, which both were eastbound in the right lane, police said.

The Chevy then rolled into another Crown Victoria that was stopped in the driveway of the Fashion Show Mall waiting to exit onto Fashion Show Drive, police said. The driver of the fourth car suffered minor injuries, police said.

Medical crews pronounced Crawley dead at the scene. It was the 22nd fatal traffic accident in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.

The collision remains under investigation.
