Democrats had a chance to compromise

Isn’t it ironic that the Democrats are now clamoring for compromise to resolve the looming debt crisis? Where was the compromise when they ramrodded the so-called (and misnamed) Affordable Care Act through Congress, using the political gimmick of “reconciliation,” despite every major poll indicating the American people were against it?

And now, because they no longer have a majority in the House and can’t get their way, they’re talking compromise.
