Fatal crash

The death of a 39-year-old Las Vegas woman killed after driving into the wall of an interstate overpass has been ruled a suicide, the Clark County Coroner's Office said today.

Mai Linh S. Gibbons died from blunt force injuries she suffered Friday night, the coroner said.

Metro Police said she was driving a 1997 Buick LeSabre south on H Street at Bonanza Road about 8:20 p.m. when she failed to turn left or right and drove into a block retaining wall of the Interstate 15 overpass.

Gibbons was pronounced dead at the scene.
