The Sin City Sinners are going bald for childhood cancer.

The popular local band has announced a last-minute fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's Foundation at Sunset Station's Club Madrid.

The night will kick off at 9 p.m. Friday with Los Angeles musical guest Hargo. The Sin City Sinners are scheduled to take the stage at 10:30 p.m. Additional guest appearances for the evening are scheduled to include Jimmy Crespo of Aerosmith; Paul Shortino of Rough Cutt and Quiet Riot; Louie Merlino and Ron Mancuso of Beggars & Thieves; Carol-Lyn Liddle of Dangerous Curves; and drummer Carmine Appice of Vanilla Fudge.

Admission to the show is free, but donations to the charity will be collected.

St. Baldrick's, a volunteer-driven charity, works toward funding the research to find cures for childhood cancers by hosting fundraisers around the world. The fundraisers are organized by volunteers who set a goal to raise money for the foundation with the promise that when their goal is met they will shave their head at a public event.

The Sinners' manager, Jason Green, will shave his head Saturday for the charity alongside 92.3 Komp Radio DJ Big Mex at an event at 4 p.m. at Boulder Station.

After raising money and shaving their heads, volunteers are given the option to donate their freshly cut locks to various organizations that take the hair and make them into wigs for children with cancer.

Additional head-shaving events for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Nine Fine Irishman inside New York-New York and at McMullan's Irish Pub on Tropicana Avenue, where more than 320 volunteers have signed up to shave their heads.
