Lanes of Rainbow Boulevard in northwest Las Vegas will be closed for the next five weeks, city officials announced.
Rainbow will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Gowan Road to Red Coach Avenue, north of Craig Road, beginning Monday, officials said.
The lane closures are to allow crews to perform a pavement preventative maintenance project to extend the life of the roadway.
The closures will be in effect around the clock until the project is complete in April.
Southern Nevada Paving is the contractor for the city-funded and managed project.
