Regarding Linda Turner’s Friday letter to the editor, headlined “Politics putting our health at risk”:
The mandate to buy health insurance is not hard to comprehend and its opponents are not confused. I will try to clarify anyone’s confusion.
One does not have a choice with the new health care mandate. You must buy insurance.
One does have a choice with liability insurance.
Choice No. 1: Drive a car and buy liability insurance. Choice No. 2: Don’t drive and no insurance is necessary.
