Gamers aren't the only ones who should be excited about the opening of Insert Coin(s) in the Fremont East district next month. Supporters of the local art scene should be, too. The so-called "videolounge gamebar" is set to feature the work of seven local artists—and we're not just talking about a few paintings hanging in the corner, either.

The bar will feature a 6-by-100-foot mural collectively made by seven local artists: Keri Schroeder, the art director for Insert Coin(s); Caesar Garcia, a former curator of the Arts Factory; Juan Muniz, a member of group Art Renegades; Anthony Rampolla, a street artist; Ruckus, a graffiti artist with the group 5 Finger Miscount; Scream, an illustrative artist with Blackbird Studios; and Ryan Tino, an artist specializing in stencil work. In addition to the large-scale murals, four other murals will also feature individual work done by the artists.

Here's a sneak peak at the work in progress. All we have to say is: Our eyes are excited as our thumbs.
