Corporate giving

ARH Expo donated nearly $13,000 to Opportunity Village for the purchase of programmable thermostats.

The Avon Breast Health Outreach Program awarded a $30,000 grant to St. Rose Dominican Hospitals’ R.E.D. Rose program.

Helping Hands of Henderson received $51,458 from the Regional Transportation Commission for the recruitment of volunteers and partial funding for a paid driver as well as $36,916 to support purchase of a new vehicle. The Nevada Transportation Department contributed $34,965 for the purchase of a third van and the MGM Resorts Foundation donated $25,000 in opperating support for volunteer recruitment.

NAI Cares donated $5,000 to the Las Vegas chapter of Habitat for Humanity and more than 25 volunteers from NAI Global, NAI Las Vegas and other NAI member firms volunteered to assist in building a home in North Las Vegas.

Nevada Oral & Facial Surgery donated $5,000 to Three Square Food Bank.

St. Rose Dominican Hospitals granted $50,000 each to the Dr. Joel & Carol Bower School Based Health Center, Nevada Health Centers and Volunteers in Medicine; $40,000 to Easter Seals; $25,000 each to Access to Healthcare Network, Saint Therese Center and The Shade Tree; $15,274 to Hopelink; and $15,000 to Boulder City Lend A Hand.

Wishes by Wyndham donated more than 1,000 nonfiction books to Gibson Middle School through the Public Education Foundation’s Clark County READS program.
