Metro Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man involved in a sexual assault early Wednesday morning in northwest Las Vegas.

On Thursday, police released several video images of a man they described as a person of interest.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, about 5-feet-10-inches tall and 160 pounds with a thin build, authorities said. He has brown, curly hair, which at the time of the assault was pulled back into a ponytail, and was wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt and blue jeans.

Police said the assault occurred at 2:22 a.m. in a neighborhood northeast of the intersection of Washington Avenue and Durango Drive. The man left the scene on foot or on a bicycle.
