NHP identifies 19-year-old who died in rollover crash

Summerlin Parkway

Nevada Highway Patrol released the name of a 19-year-old who died Oct. 23 in a car rollover in Summerlin.

Alexander Lawrence, 19, of Las Vegas, was driving a white 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser traveling eastbound on Summerlin Parkway west of Buffalo around 10:08 p.m. when the accident occurred, officials said.

Lawrence lost control of the Toyota that rotated clockwise and traveled off the right edge of the roadway, the highway patrol said.

Lawrence, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

Two male passengers, ages 17 and 18, were transported to University Medical Center with minor injuries, officials said.
