Regarding Jack Corrick’s Sept. 3 letter to the editor, headlined “Tax breaks are not creating jobs here”:
In his first four paragraphs, he lists some interesting facts, and in the middle of the fifth paragraph, he states: “How many jobs have Fortune 500 companies created here, compared with what they have created overseas in the past dozen years?”
Why? It’s because of the corporate tax rate (highest in the free world) and onerous governmental/environmental regulations forced on them.
