The American voters in the next presidential election should have an easy choice. Since our principal problem is the economy and unemployment, we must have a concrete (no pun intended) plan to put people back to work.
President Barack Obama has proposed that we put people back to work by investing in our aging infrastructure by rebuilding bridges, roads, airports, sewers, water mains and electric grids.
The Republican presidential candidates’ solutions are only nebulous talking points, such as limiting President Obama to one term, lowering taxes for employers (which has not worked in the past 10 years), or eliminating the Environmental Protection Agency, which they say overregulates business.
