Letter to the editor:

Expect no change in North Korea

With the recent passing of North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Il and the throne being passed to his 20-something-year-old son Kim Jong Un, with the title of supreme commander along with a few other titles, it can be assumed that things will not change.

North Korea has been labeled a hermit state by the civilized world. With millions dead and dying from starvation, North Korea refuses to join a normal relationship with South Korea and the rest of the world. Perhaps the biggest reason for this is North Korea has committed crimes against humanity. It would shock the world if North Korea opened its borders to allow the world to see what its leadership has done to their people.

The government of former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi would look like a group of choir boys when compared to the North Korean rogue state.
