Power was knocked out for about 3,500 NV Energy customers early Friday after a car crashed into a power pole in the west valley.
The accident happened about 4 a.m. near Flamingo Street and Decatur Boulevard, NV Energy spokeswoman Jennifer Schuricht said.
NV Energy began restoring power within about half an hour, Schuricht said, and service had been restored to 98 percent of those affected by 8:45 a.m.
