Driver arrested
For 20 minutes Nevada Highway Patrol troopers pursued a swerving Dodge truck hauling a trailer Tuesday afternoon traveling northbound on U.S. 95.
When the 74-year-old Northern Nevada man driving the truck pulled over near the Craig Road exit he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, said Trooper Loy Hixson.
Units were called to the scene just before 5 p.m. and closed off the area of U.S. 95 near Craig Road for about 20 minutes, Hixon said.
No injuries and no other cars were involved in the incident, he said. The highway has been reopened to traffic.
