It may be coat-and-scarf weather, but the Hard Rock Hotel wants industry professionals to show off their beach bods. The casino resort released a casting call today in anticipation of its 2012 pool season featuring HRH Beach Club and Season 9 of the popular -- and notorious -- pool party Rehab.
The casting call is Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Hard Rock’s Vanity Nightclub from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Job openings include VIP hosts, bartenders, lifeguards, model cocktail servers, food runners, cabana attendants, bar backs and seasonal security officers.
The Hard Rock asks that applicants show up with a valid ID (must be 21 or older), a resume and their best “dressed to impress” beach attire for audition photograph. Sunscreen not required.

The resort will hold group interviews for similar industry pro positions at its employment fair Monday, Jan. 30, and Tuesday, Jan. 31. Swimwear is required for all model candidates. MGM Grand’s Wet Republic is calling for applicants to fill more than 100 positions for the 2012 pool season kicking off in March. Auditions are Jan. 18-20 and 25-27 from noon to 5 p.m. at Luxor’s LAX Nightclub. Candidates must audition in swimwear and bring a valid ID, head shots and a resume.
