Some Henderson facilities closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Several city facilities in Henderson will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Henderson City Hall and the Henderson Municipal Court will be closed but police, fire and emergency services will work regular schedules.

The following recreation facilities will be closed: Downtown Recreation Center, Henderson Multigenerational Competition Pool, Silver Springs Recreation Center, Valley View Recreation Center and Whitney Ranch Recreation Center.

Some facilities will be open for special holiday hours.

The Black Mountain Recreation Center will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Henderson Multigenerational Center & Aquatic Complex and its indoor pools will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Heritage Park Aquatic Complex and Heritage Park Senior Facility will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Online payment services with the city will be available and residents can report problems via Contact Henderson at cityofhenderson.com.
