El Pollo Loco blaze
No joke, firefighters extinguished a fryer fire today at an El Pollo Loco near Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to a call at 6:36 p.m. from a customer of the restaurant at 2401 S. Decatur Boulevard, fire officials said.
When fire crews arrived they found light smoke coming from the fryer where the blaze originated, officials said.
The flames were contained within minutes, officials said. No injuries were reported.
