An inmate died in custody Saturday afternoon at the Clark County Detention Center.
He was found unconscious after his cellmate alerted corrections officers of a possible seizure, and was immediately transported to University Medical Center, Las Vegas Metro Police said, where he was pronounced dead.
He was known to have health problems, and Metro Homicide is investigating his death.
The inmate's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
