Let’s face it, he probably has enough ties. What Dad really wants is a nice meal with the family or a fun outing. Several local restaurants and attractions are offering Father’s Day specials, so read on to plan the perfect day for dad.

Father’s Day dining options:

PBR Rock Bar & Grill inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood invites dads to enjoy free bull rides. Bring the family, as children eat for free with the purchase of an adult entrée. Call 750-1685 for reservations.

LBS Burger Joint at Red Rock Resort offers “Pints for Pops” on Father’s Day, featuring $3 domestic drafts all day for fathers. Call 835-9393 for reservations.

Tacos & Tequila at Luxor celebrates dads with a special Father’s Day brunch menu featuring a three-course meal for $25. The menu includes items like albondigas soup, chopped salad, chorizo-potato rellenos, carne asada steak and a chocolate quesadilla for dessert. Short Ribs at Public House.

Public House honors dads with a special prix fixe menu with a beer paring for $48. The three-course meal begins with a Scotch egg paired with a Firestone Double Barrel Ale, The main course is short ribs with sweet potato puree and IPA battered onion rings paired with Deschutes Black Butte Porter. For the final course, enjoy the chocolate stout layer cake made with malted milk ice cream and caramelized bacon rice crispies paired with Big Dog’s Tyrone! My Man! Black IPA. Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at the Excalibur offers a Father’s Day brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a Sunday family barbecue from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Brunch choices include a choice of egg-style combos like the scramble of the day or steak and eggs. You can also build your own omelet. Meals come with a side of breakfast potatoes and toast. Other breakfast classics include French toast, waffles or biscuits and gravy with sides of bacon, sausage or toast. The Sunday family barbecue includes smoked barbecue meat selections such as barbecue beef, pork and sausage and savory side dishes including mac & cheese, mom’s baked beans and cornbread. Executive Chef K.C. Fazel of Tender Steak & Seafood has created three-course prix fixe menu to celebrate Father’s Day, priced at $55 per person. Menu items include Caesar salad, American Kobe chili, Maine lobster bisque, range-fed New Zealand ribeye, Skuna Bay salmon and barbecue braised Wagyu Kobe boneless short ribs. Dessert selections include the chocolate decadent cake layered with chocolate fudge ganache and vanilla bean gelato or Tahitian vanilla crème brulee served with a shortbread cookie and huckleberry compote. At Ranch House Kitchen at Town Square, fathers can indulge in a complimentary domestic draft of their choice during brunch served from 8 a.m. until noon. Comme Ça at The Cosmopolitan created a prix-fixe menu, featuring dishes like roasted bone marrow and oxtail jam, oysters Rockefeller, wood fire grilled steamship of prime beef, hand cut pasta with slow cooked meat ragout and mimolette cheese, roasted cauliflower and boudin noir gratin and Comme Ça’s opera cake. Big Daddy Roll at Rice & Co.

Executive Sushi Chef Danny Chen of Rice & Company offers the spicy Big Daddy sushi roll made with shrimp tempura, shiso and kaiware, wrapped with wagyu beef, avocado, jalapeño and tobiko priced at $18. Max Brenner at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace offers up special Father’s Day favorites like the My Man medely for $6.50, the Father’s Day Tie pralines for $13.90 and various hot chocolate and fondue gift sets. Call 462-8790 for reservations.

Celebrate Father’s Day with Via Brasil Steakhouse, where guests can enjoy a three-course rodizio style brunch from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for $34.99. The regular dinner service is available for $44.99 and is served from 2-9 p.m. Children five and under eat for free and those 6-12 eat for $14.99. Trevi serves up a rustic Italian prix fixe menu and a specialty cocktail this Father’s Day. The special meal, priced at $45.95 per person, includes items like a 14 ounce ribeye steak served with a side of linguine marinara and topped with a pizzaiola sauce made with burgundy wine, marinara sauce, peppers and onions, and tiramisu for dessert. Border Grill at Mandalay Bay serves up Father’s Day specialties like include guajillo pork tamale, tequila shrimp gazpacho shooters, crispy fried chicken, chipotle and espresso crusted ribeye, pan seared filet with lobster tamale and chocolate mousse buñuelos for dessert.
