U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is set to make appearances at a university law school, a church and a casino during a visit to Las Vegas.

The 76-year-old justice whose conservative opinions sometimes rile critics is expected to draw protesters outside his third Wednesday event.

That's a reception hosted by the St. Thomas More Society of Nevada at Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s Palazzo resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

Earlier, Scalia is scheduled to speak to law students and faculty at the Boyd School of Law at UNLV.

He's also scheduled to appear at an evening Catholic Red Mass liturgy at the Guardian Angel Cathedral just off the Strip.

The church service seeks divine guidance for judges, lawyers and other legal professionals.
